Macau Historical series:
Bullfighting in Old Macau

Bullfighting is the national spectacle of Portugal and many other Spanish-speaking countries, which used to be taken place in Macau in the 20th Century. The first bullfighting show was held in the summer of 1966.
In accordance to the awareness of animal protection in the past decades, the last bullfight was taken place in 1997. There will be discussion from preparation to performance, from frequently to extinction; so that we can know more about the history of bullfight that was once staged in the Far East.
