Solo Exhibition of Véronique Wong
Embarking on a journey to the forging of the creation of Video Art.
“Dreaming in Frames” exhibits over 25 artworks of Ms. Véronique Wong ranging from 70s to 2000s, ranging from the paintings that being the disciple of famed painters as Mr. Tam Che Seng and Mr. Chen Shou Soo in the early stage, to the post disciple stage of painting and urban sketch; nonetheless with the creation of Video Art when studying aboard in France, to the community documentaries of Macao. The creative trajectory of Véronique is primarily anchored in the Reflection of “Existence”. Wong centered in the exploration and observation in her adolescent years, particularly attentive to the existence and meaning of life to individuals. She focuses on social transformation. The exhibition allows the audience to behold the profound impact of these three significant periods on Wong’s artistic adventure. We hope to facilitate community continuity narratives through visual communication by showcasing her community documentation, helping everyone to identify the bonding with others, the community, and even memories.
黃肖萍 Véronique Wong
A media artist whose practice encompasses Video Art, Video Installation, Documentary, Installation Art, Illustration, and Painting.
She is also a dedicated children's art educator and arts trainer, with over 25 years of experience in teaching both children and adults, as well as in her own artistic creation.
